Appleton East High School encourages students, staff members, and parents to
apply for a “Patriots Pay It Forward” grant. The endowment fund promotes initiatives that directly benefit current students as well as augment Appleton East values and traditions.
This year, the Patriots will award up to $2,500 for projects that enhance the Appleton East experience.
Established in 2017, the Patriots Pay It Forward program supports learning and enrichment opportunities at Appleton East High School not covered by the traditional school budget. Potential projects include artists in residence (e.g. professional musicians working with student performers), author visits (e.g. professional writers leading writing workshops), beautification projects (e.g. creating spaces for showcasing student ingenuity and artwork), and providing unique opportunities for student engagement (e.g. registration fees for special events and projects). In 2022, inaugural grants were awarded to the D.R.E.A.M. Team, Key Club, Library Media Center, Literary Club, and Sources of Strength at Appleton East High School.
The Patriots Pay It Forward grant application window closes on April 15. Grant winners will be announced at the Appleton East Patriot Pasta Party in May.
