Learn more about ways to support Appleton East:

Appleton East Theatre Fund

The Appleton East High School auditorium has been home to many amazing theatrical productions, concerts, guest speakers, and community gatherings. Now decades old, many elements of our facility need repair or replacement - including our lighting and sound system. Some of the original incandescent lighting fixtures no longer function, many are unreliable, and all are outdated.

For large productions such as East’s musical, fixtures must be rented at substantial cost to adequately light the stage and the more than 100 students involved.

Every donation will help to ensure that one of the most popular and celebrated performance spaces will continue to serve our students and community far into the future.

All gifts for this campaign should be directed to the Appleton East Theatre Improvement Fund within the Appleton Education Foundation. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Online Credit Card Donation

Now Accepting Applications for Patriots Pay It Forward Grant

Appleton East High School encourages students, staff members, and parents to apply for a “Patriots Pay It Forward” grant. The endowment fund promotes initiatives that directly benefit current students as well as augment Appleton East values and traditions. This year, the Patriots will award up to $2,500 for projects that enhance the Appleton East experience.

Established in 2017, the Patriots Pay It Forward program supports learning and enrichment opportunities at Appleton East High School not covered by the traditional school budget. Potential projects include artists in residence (e.g. professional musicians working with student performers), author visits (e.g. professional writers leading writing workshops), beautification projects (e.g. creating spaces for showcasing student ingenuity and artwork), and providing unique opportunities for student engagement (e.g. registration fees for special events and projects). In 2022, inaugural grants were awarded to the D.R.E.A.M. Team, Key Club, Library Media Center, Literary Club, and Sources of Strength at Appleton East High School.

The Patriots Pay It Forward grant application window closes on April 15. Grant winners will be announced at the Appleton East Patriot Pasta Party in May.
