The City of Appleton and Mosaic Family Health have partnered with the Appleton Area School District to bring FREE Tdap and meningococcal vaccines to your student's school.

This update, which will be effective for the 2026-27 school year, brings district policy into compliance with state law while reinforcing expectations that have long guided classroom learning and student behavior. The Appleton Area School District wants students to be able to focus on learning while also helping them learn to use technology responsibly

As part of our ongoing work to support student success, a few small updates to the district’s attendance practices will take effect beginning in the 2026–27 school year. These updates are designed to create more consistency across schools and ensure students are in class and ready to learn each day

This is a great opportunity to prepare for the school year by meeting teachers, walking class schedules, exploring clubs and activities, and becoming familiar with the building. Families will receive a paper copy of their student's schedule, and school counselors will be available to answer questions. Student leaders will also offer guided building tours throughout the event
