Parking Permits

New: Google Form opens August 1st for students!

24-25 Student Parking Google Form

Due to the construction during the 24-25 school year, we will have limited parking spaces for students. The parking sign-up form linked HERE will go live on August 1st at 7:00 a.m. Student parking spaces will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students need to have a valid drivers license to fill out the form. The Google form will need to be filled out by the student with their AASD account.

Students will need to enter:

  • Their preference of parking lot (either John St or Schaefer St)
  • Driver’s License Number
  • Vehicle - Make, Model, and Color
  • Vehicle - License Plate Number

The form needs to be filled out completely to be eligible for a spot. Students will receive an email on their school email account with a notification if they receive a permit or if they are on the waiting list along with next steps. Parking passes are $5 and must be paid for within 5 days of receiving the acceptance email. This fee must be paid in our Student Services office (cash or check).

More information regarding parking permits is located on the Google form linked above. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Waters at (920) 852-5400 or watersshawna@aasd.k12.wi.us.

Appleton East High School is not responsible for vandalism of your vehicle, vehicles that are stolen from school property, or articles stolen from a vehicle parked on school property.

Street parking is available on nearby streets for those students that do not have a permit that wish to drive to school. Do not park in fire lanes, no parking areas or block sidewalks, driveways or mailboxes.

SCHOOL PARKING REGULATIONS

Parking at AEHS is a privilege. Students with attendance or behavior issues may have their permit removed. If a student receives a detention, they must serve their detention in a timely manner as agreed upon by Administration or they may also have their permit removed. Excessive tardiness may result in having this permit removed. It may also be revoked by the School Resource Officer or Administration as deemed appropriate.

Parking is regulated with parking permit hang tags which must be hung on the rearview mirror and is strictly limited to the student parking lots (John St. lot or Schaefer St. lot).  The parking lot is patrolled so that vehicles belonging to our school community may be identified and to ensure that the parking lot is utilized safely. Notify the office immediately if your permit is lost or stolen. Replacement permits can be purchased for the full fee of $5.

  1. All vehicles parked on school property during the school day must be registered with the school office and must display the 24-25 parking permit hung on the rearview mirror. It is your responsibility to move the permit if you are bringing a different vehicle to school.
  2. All drivers (from the same household) must complete their own parking permit application.
  3. Parking in the Emmers St. lot is permitted for VISITORS AND SPECIAL PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY. Under no circumstances should students park in the Emmers St. lot.
  4. The school is not responsible for the vehicle or its contents.
  5. Loitering in the parking lot and/or in vehicles is prohibited.
  6. No speeding, over 15 miles an hour, or any form of reckless driving on school property.
  7. Vehicles may be subject to search if there are reasonable grounds to believe that drugs, alcohol, stolen property or other contraband might be present in that vehicle.
  8. Parking regulations are strictly enforced.  Suspension of parking privileges may occur when violations of these regulations occur at the discretion of school administration and or the School Resource Officer.
  9. Vehicles without a permit could be ticketed by the Appleton Police Department. Fines start at $20.00.
  10. By applying for and receiving a permit, students/families/guardians fully understand their responsibility in following these parking regulations.

Any questions please contact Mrs. Waters at (920) 852-5400.
