SportsYou Communication Platform

The Appleton East Activities Department uses SportsYou as its primary communication platform for athletic teams and most student activities. Coaches and advisors use SportsYou to communicate with students and families, share important updates, schedules, reminders, and team information.

Why SportsYou?

  • Free for students and parents/guardians
  • Available as a mobile app or through a web browser
  • Used by the majority of Appleton athletic teams and activity groups
  • Preferred communication platform of the WIAA
  • Provides one centralized location for team and activity communications

Getting Started

  1. Download the SportsYou app from your device's app store or visit SportsYou.com on a computer.
  2. Join your team or activity using the code provided by your coach or advisor.
  3. Parents/guardians and students should join to receive important updates throughout the season or activity year.

Communication Expectations

While SportsYou is the primary communication tool for activities and athletics, school email may also be used when appropriate.

Important

To ensure appropriate and transparent communication, students and coaches/advisors should not communicate through personal text messages or other private messaging services. Communication should occur through approved school platforms such as SportsYou or district email.
