Sports Medicine
Appleton Area School District partners with ThedaCare to provide our WIAA student-athletes continuous sports medicine expertise during the off-season and throughout the year.
This sports medicine staff provides athletic training (diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation) for all injuries to help our student-athletes heal and strength and conditioning coaching to help them to excel. These highly specialized experts deliver comprehensive, continuous care with a personal understanding of the needs of high school student-athletes.
Services for AASD Student-Athletes
- Injury prevention/evaluation/treatment
- Concussion management
- Emergency care
- Physical therapy
- Movement analysis
- On-site training sessions for performance improvement
- Assist in referrals to outside care when required
