Junior and Senior students wishing to drive a vehicle to school and park in the school parking lot will need a parking permit. The permits are free. One parking permit per family will be issued.
Applications will be available at registration and in the Student Services Office, and the number of parking permits given out will not exceed the number of spots in the parking lot.
Students must bring their driver’s license and vehicle license plate number. Sophomores may drive to school but will need to park on the street.
Having a parking permit is a privilege. Students who are suspended in or out of school will have their permit removed. If a student receives a detention, they must serve their detention in a timely manner as agreed upon by administration, or they will also have their permit removed. Excessive tardiness will result in having the permit removed. It can also be removed by the police school liaison or administration as deemed appropriate.
Students and staff can only park in designated parking stalls. Illegally parked vehicles will be randomly ticketed. Remember that a permit does not always guarantee you a spot to park. If you have multiple vehicles you will have to transfer your permit between cars and all cars and their plates must be registered on your form. Unfortunately, there will be times where snow piles, service vehicles and unforeseen circumstances will overtake some of our spots. If you cannot find a space to park, you will have to park on the streets near the school.
