ACT Aspire Testing
Posted on 04/01/2019
Recently, East, North and West high school juniors were involved in taking the state-mandated ACT + Writing and WorkKeys tests. During the third week of April, all of the district’s ninth and tenth-grade students will be involved in state-mandated ACT Aspire testing as well.

The Aspire results help students and the schools better prepare students for the ACT. Because this testing is important for our students and for our schools, we will be making some adjustments to the daily schedule that will impact only the three high schools.
In order for families of our students to be informed as soon as possible, we have listed some of the testing specifics that will affect our high schools the last week of April:
Testing will take place for all ninth and tenth graders on April 16, 17, and 18

All ninth and tenth graders should report for testing at 7:30 am. Testing will run from 7:30 am until 9:35 am.

All juniors and seniors will report at 9:40 am on the three days of testing.

Upperclassmen are welcome to come to school at the normal arrival time during these three days of testing. Bus routes will be following their normal routes and times. The LMC, weight room, commons etc. will be staffed to accommodate any students that come early on these testing days.

Students will follow a modified schedule with classes approximately 35 minutes in length.
