Launch Studio

The Launch Studio at Appleton East High School is an innovative venue for students, teachers, and parents to make real world, face-to-face connections with business professionals representing high demand careers in the New North. It’s intended to promote career awareness and exploration with high-impact experiences for high school students.

Launch Studios create an engaging space for students to learn about careers directly from members of the Fox Cities business community and help businesses build closer ties with future local talent. These connections will positively impact the talent shortages employers in our area are experiencing.

Launch Studios host career panels, Q&As, and virtual tours that are all relevant to monthly focus topics.

Our high school Launch Studios are supported by Site Business Advisory Boards. These Boards are able to connect the classroom with the workplace through their connections with companies, organizations, and non-profits in the Fox Valley.
This dynamic new space was made possible because of direct financial support from The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and the Appleton Education Foundation.

Supporting Business Partners Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital, CMD Corporation, Great Northern, Huzzard Technologies, Miller Electric Mfg LLC, Pierce Manufacturing, and Thrivent Financial were also instrumental in the creation of the Launch Studios.
